Purchased this OEM pad spreader after years of using a large C clamp to retract the pistons. Lucky I did for this brake job, as the bleeder screws were on the rear of the piston cup, and a C clamp would not have worked. I should have bought this a long time ago. I have purchased OEM tools in the past, and have been very satisfied with their performance compared to their cost. Would rate them below Snap On, and Mac tools of course, but much better than any cheap Chinese tool from your local store. A similar quality to the Crafstman brand, and they carry a lifetime warranty, too. Other cheap similar pad spreader reviews indicated the knob was prone to breaking, or slipping around the threaded shaft. I feel this is a non issue with this tool, as it feels very precise and stoudt while turning the knob. Purchase this and you will not be dissapointed.
